About MHA

MHA was established in 1992 by a group of local people.

MHA's primary objective was to improve the housing within the area and make Muirhouse a desirable place to live.Original plans centred on the Muirhouse Green, Muirhouse Park and Muirhouse Terrace area. The housing in all of these streets has now been greatly improved. Partnerships with the Council, Communities Scotland and private builders have resulted in MHA expanding within Muirhouse and Drylaw.

MHA owns 427 homes in Muirhouse and 18 in Drylaw.

We hope to be involved in further development opportunities in the local area to provide improved housing for even more local people. In particular we aim to have an active role in the provision of new homes for rent within the Pennywell area and the old Craigroyston Secondary School site.
