Edindex

MHA is a member of Edindex. This is a common housing register used by The City of Edinburgh Council and most Housing Associations in Edinburgh.

When you have completed an Edindex form your details are recorded on the common housing register for each landlord to use. You do not need to apply to each landlord individually.

The Council and some associations advertise their vacant properties, and you are required to bid for the property that you are interested in. These vacancies are advertised in the Evening News and can be viewed on line at www.keytochoice.scotsman.com. Other associations, such as MHA, continue to contact the applicants who have the highest housing need when they have a vacancy.
