Tenant's Group
MHA had a registered Tenant Group but due to lack of interest, with only a couple of tenants regularly attending, the decision was taken by the Tenants to disband the group.
MHA agreed that events aimed at specific age groups and interest groups would be organised. Hopefully from these events new people will express an interest in joining or establishing a new formal Tenants Group.
In 2011 MHA established the Muirhouse Residents Group. This group acts as a vehicle for us to continue to support community and tenant activities . Donations to various community groups & organisations are made to promote MHA and to encourage our tenants & residents to take part in the community. Funding applications have been made for Youth Clubs, After School Projects and Tea Dances.
Annual events now include a pantomime and pensioners lunch.
