Crackdown on Nuisance calls

New rules came into force on Tuesday which mean directors of firms will be held personally accountable for their staff making nuisance phone calls and face fines of up to £500,000.

Older people can be particularly vulnerable to scams by nuisance call companies, with research showing that nearly half of landline calls made to older and vulnerable people are from cold callers.
