Steven Prevost – meet the board member
How long have you been on the Board?
5 years
Why did you join?
To use my accountancy skills to help make a positive difference to the lives of others.
What is the best thing about being on the Board?
Listening to and considering different points of view. There’s always both a compromise and a solution when people listen and consider before making decisions.
What is the most difficult thing about being on the Board?
Hearing about the impact of welfare reform on Muirhouse tenants. I think Governments should do a lot more of listening and considering the views of all parts of society before making decisions.
Why would you recommend joining the Board?
As an individual you will possess a unique set of skills formed from your life experiences. No one else can bring that to the Muirhouse Board.
